Last August, out of curiosity, I attended a music/worship conference in Gaithersburg, MD. To my chagrin, I found that what I thought was supposed to be a conference all about music, turned out to be all about God! I spent a week with some of the most humble, gospel-centered people I have ever met, and I left supercharged about my God who is worthy of all my worship–the worship of my lips and the worship of my life!…about the power and centrality of the gospel in life and worship…and about the beauty of what God is doing in his church–in my local body!

Hello!
I met you in passing at WG09… I’m a friend of Jon Moreno (that may help!?). I just want to agree that the conference was life changing, not necessarily because of the worship, but because of the God being worshiped! Piper’s messages were probably the most influential messages I’ve ever heard! What a blessing! Keep serving the Lord with your talent!

hey paul! i was at rehearsal last night for the praise service on campus and we did O God, My Joy. I really liked it a lot. hope you are doing well!
