This new song is my attempt to summarize our new year theme at church: “Stewards of God’s Amazing Grace.” The three verses express that we are stewards of:

the the life God has given us (Ps. 90, 139)
the gospel truth that he has entrusted to us (2 Cor. 4:1-7, 5:11-6:4a)
the church, where he has given us gifts to use for the building up of the body (1 Cor. 3:5-4:7)

I’ve added several new songs to the Congregational and Solo pages!

Also, I’ve finally uploaded lyrics and lead sheets for most of the songs. 4-part harmonizations will hopefully start appearing soon, too.

Last August, out of curiosity, I attended a music/worship conference in Gaithersburg, MD. To my chagrin, I found that what I thought was supposed to be a conference all about music, turned out to be all about God! I spent a week with some of the most humble, gospel-centered people I have ever met, and I left supercharged about my God who is worthy of all my worship–the worship of my lips and the worship of my life!…about the power and centrality of the gospel in life and worship…and about the beauty of what God is doing in his church–in my local body!

I’ve cleaned up and reorganized the site a bit with the help of my web designer. Hopefully navigation will be a lot more easy and straightforward.

I’ve also uploaded cleaner arrangements of some of the songs that were on here before, thanks to my new microphone. Take a second look!

I have several new songs in the works that I hope to get on here in the next month or so, before school starts back up and crazy race to December begins again. So stay in touch!

Thanks for your encouragement and support! I just pray that some of these songs might be tools to help you love and enjoy God a little more. That’s all that really matters!
